:) WAAAAAAAAY back in October, we headed off for visa work (Maybe this should have come before the Rock Collection... oh well.) and had a great time with Alan & Rachel and 2 kiddos. One of the things we did in the 4 days that Shane was with us was.... head off to a local museum. :)

For my Geologist Friends

I don't even think I have ANY geologist friends, however, IF you were ever wanting to be one and LOVE rock patterns, this post is for YOU! :)

I LOVE the 'grain' on about anything. The cooler the looking wood the better. The rockdirt cliffs with lots of different kinds of layers and rocks fascinate me. I just love to wonder what it all I would have seen when God allowed these things to form. The magnitude of moving dirt, molten lava, amazing pressure, and heat that it takes to make these different 'grains' leaves me awe-struck with wonder. I often hope that God will have the moments of creation or the earth's activity on DVD so I can watch them when I am heaven. I will be spell bound Ohhing and Ahhing and telling him how COOL, smart, or clever that was of him to do it this or that way. I would love to enjoy laughing with him and telling him what amazing work he has done. Though the things I create are children's play to him, I am glad that he created me to love to be creative. There is so much enjoyment out of it; relaxation and just pure self satisfaction in making something.

Selamat Idul Fitri

Well, here is my measly picture of our Idul Fitri time.

If I had as many pictures as meals and snacks I have eaten, this would have as many pictures as the 'Pasar Hewan' post! :( Sorry.... maybe next year i will be a bit more with it....
